Yun Hyejeong, a South Korean visual artist and documentary filmmaker based in Germany since 2015. 
Using her own personal narratives, she questions societal dynamicswithin hegemonic power structures. She deconstructs colonial myths and features intersectional identities through moving images, installations, and performances.
A recipient of the "Germany Scholarship" twice, Yun was nominated for the DAAD Prize in 2021. Her films have been featured at an international level on several occasions like the Asian American International Film Festival in New York City, the European Media Art Festival in Germany and Seoul experimental Film Festival in South Korea.
